It’s no secret that we love IPAs from the hop-masters at New York’s Barrier Brewing. And with these brews clocking an average of 4.14 from Tavour members, looks like you guys will love ‘em too!
After tasting today’s Tanto IPA, we’re falling in love with Barrier all over again!
NYC craft fans have rated Tanto a whopping 4.21 on BA! If you’re one of the lucky hopheads to have grabbed a can from Barrier before then you’ll be all over this one. If you haven’t yet tasted a hopbomb from these guys, now is the time!
But be warned: this nectar is nearly impossible to find outside the Big Apple, and even there it can be tricky. That’s why hordes of city dwellers are willing to take the train for over an hour out to the Rockaway Beach taproom just for a sip.
If you want a taste of this juice, get it while you can.
You should probably pick up enough to share with your buddies, too. If they already know Barrier they’ll flip with excitement as soon as they recognize the vibrant can art. If they don’t, you’ll get to introduce them to their new favorite brewery!
And after a sip of the 7.1% ABV Tanto, they’re basically guaranteed to fall head over heels for Barrier.
Massive dry-hopping with Idaho 7, Citra, Motueka and Simcoe brings a parade of lemon, mango, and dank papaya. As the early citrus fades it’s replaced by a massive hit of pineapple that envelops the palate. On the finish, baked biscuits and pithy grapefruit settle across the taste buds.
Today, you don’t have to trek out to New York to snag a taste of Barrier. Pick up a few cans for you and your buds and bring this taste of East Coast craft home to your own fridge.
