This hazy IPA was brewed in collaboration with Wander Brewing (Bellingham, WA) as an homage to Dr. Steven G. Herman. Varietal brewed this IPA with Oregon-grown Mecca Grade Lamonta & Wind malts, as well as a smaller fraction of white wheat & golden naked oats. Mosaic hops in the whirlpool, then a fermentation dry-hop of Triumph lay the groundwork of hop flavor that we reinforced with a heavyweight dry-hop of more than 6lbs per barrel with a blend of Comet, Mosaic, Talus & Ekuanot.
