Craft fans down in Houston are all a bunch of sheep! By that I mean, they’re flocking to the juice that’s pouring out of Baa Baa Brewhouse.
With good reason, too! Baa Baa was the first brewery in Houston to craft an official New England-style IPA. And they did it so well, Hop Culture credits them for beginning The Story of How Houston Became “Juiceton!”
But, since Baa Baa only brews in small baaatches, haze-hungry locals butt heads over the highly-limited cans. It took shear force of will to get today’s Off the Wool Hazy DIPA out of the taproom, but this sought-after brew was definitely worth the bleating!
With the crushability of a cool glass of fresh-squeezed OJ, this brew is a hardworking shepherd’s best friend.
Look out for that 8.6% ABV though! If you crack into a few too many cans while on watch, I’m willing to go out on a lamb and say your livestock are as good as lost.
