Out-of-this-World Flavor: Tropical citrus, juicy pineapple, and ripe mango descend on the palate like a fleet of alien spacecraft. Sappy pine takes over on the end, adding a touch of resinous dryness to the finish. Memorable Mouthfeel: Huge haze cloaks the palate in juicy secrecy, making the 8.5% ABV undetectable.
It’s entirely possible that the brewers at Drekker are, in fact, reptilian imposters from beyond the moon.
Why else would they be so secretive about their Lizard People New England-style Double IPA? They won’t tell us what kind of hops are in it or what the mashbill is or anything! And usually, they list all their ingredients right on the can!
What are these U.S. Open Beer Championship winning brewers hiding? Probably some serious connections with the Illuminati, that’s my bet.
Right now, it appears that they’re planning to take over the Midwest craft scene. They’re already so popular in Minneapolis that people line up outside bottle shops on release days waiting for the Drekker truck, and then the beers sell out in mere hours.
In any case, I’m gonna keep pouring this ludicrously juicy Hazy down my gullet in hopes of discovering an answer. It’s gotta be in there somewhere.
