Today's Kriek, is the type of sucker to make any fan of fruit jam fall in love with Sour Beer. The brewery is known for Fruit Sours akin to Almanac and Cascade but on the juicier, less tastebud-rippingly-tart end of the Sour Ale spectrum. They keep it a secret how much fruit went into this thing but any functional tongue will tell ya there were a ton of real cherries added to fermentation to produce this beer!
The tangy cherries cut through the puckering cranberry for a pie filling-like mouthful of juicy red fruit flavor.
