Northwest breweries have an understanding. If you’re going to craft a Pilsner in Oregon, there’s a league of expert competition — so, you’d better bring your A-game.
With no adjuncts to hide behind and less hop character than many other styles on the market, this simple, clean beer can reveal any faults or mistakes made along the way.
And, while the Oregon Beer Award-winners at Little Beast are one of the smallest breweries in Portland, their imminently crushable Czech-Style Pilsner is climbing the charts as one of the Top 40 of its style on Untappd!
Little Beast doesn’t use any crazy adjuncts to make this clean, sweet grain, and fluffy biscuit-flavored crusher — just true-to-style Bohemian Malt and Czech-grown Saaz Hops. The brewery knows it takes fresh, quality malts, hops, a skillful hand, and meticulous attention-to-detail to craft a flawless Pils.
We’re downing a few of these now, and it tastes mighty fine. Grab some, and judge for yourself!
