I’ve always wished I could fly. But, if a genie offered to trade me a pair of wings for a shot at today’s beer, I wouldn’t think twice about it. The answer would be NO WAY!
That’s because each sip of the tangy, lip-smacking flavors that overflow from today’s A Wish For Wings That Work Golden Sour has me floating like a dream. It doesn’t take long before that nice 8.3% ABV has me feeling light as a feather. No actual wings required!
Thanks to expert oak barrel conditioning on real kiwis, lemon verbena, and vanilla beans, each sip soars across the palate with silky, sweet, tropical fruit goodness. With just the right nips of citrus, it’s like biting into ripe fruit and washing it down with some lemonade, garnished with a wedge of lime.
If anyone’s flying higher than me drinking this heavenly Golden Sour, it’s the folks who brewed it. The 4x World Beer Cup Award-winners at The Rare Barrel have a 4.22 UT rating, making them one of the top-ranked microbreweries not just in California, but in the World.
That’s even more impressive when you consider their beers never fly out of Cali.
So you owe it to yourself to have a few stocked on your shelves for the times you or your customers feel like flying.
*Yes, this name is a reference to the Berkeley Breathed picture book. But unlike Opus the Penguin, you don’t have to wait for Wings That Work — Direct.Beer is gonna fly it straight to your doors!
